V day 2014

Had a simple v day celebration at home, with the hubs cooking dinner. His idea of cooking dinner is he will google the recipe he wants, then supervise the helper carrying out his instructions. Lol. 

He says "Gordan Ramsy got cook one meh? He make sure the food looks presentable" lol

The dessert was really good though. There was a twist to it - it has chocolate filling inside the pancake!! Super Yums. This one is the hubs own creative thinking. Thumbs up! 

And my v day present this year:

When he picked me up from work, he said happy v day and gave me the laduree paper bag. 

After that he drove for a while, and said he needed to get something from the boot. And then he came back into the car with this:

 

It's a really beautiful LV necklace. Yellow gold with diamonds. Even comes with a "certificate" to say how many carats and its own serial number and all. 😍 

I hardly wear accessories but I appreciate the gesture. :) 

To the hubs: we fight like it's world war 3, 4, 5, etc all the time but you know I love you anyway. :) thank you for your love.

Perseverance

It is difficult to maintain a blog, well at least for me.

I find that I have nothing much to blog about and it's tedious to upload photos on so many different social media platforms. (Actually only 1 - Instagram lol)

Kinda officially started work proper today, after a long hiatus from Chinese New Year. Not that I'm on leave or anything, just that my clients are not ready. I have one million and one things to follow up on actually but procrastination got the better of me. Definitely gonna regret being lazy later on when I'm busy juggling multiple things at a time, but hey work's neverending right? -self rationalization right there at its best-

Can't wait for dinner with the hubs later. Hailey's at grandmother's daycare so there's no need to worry about her!! :D

Ok almost time to knock off hehehe. Shall finish up my work on hand and head down town earlier to scout around for potential valentines day present first.

Too many occasions, too little money. Boohoo.

First post!

Well well, what do we have here? My 2,546,698,482th attempt at blogging.

I got so inspired by people making money online that I've decided to try out something online as well. Weighed my options:
- YouTube star... Too hard
- Creating a website... Too hard
- Selling stuff online... Too hard
- Blogging... Ok let's do this. Lol.

Don't ask me why I always have to create a new blog address everytime I revive my writing inspirations. Doesn't everyone like to start on a clean slate? Well I do.. And if it's easy enough to do so, why not?

Ok so let's see what should my first post be about?

I think I'll start by introducing myself.. :D Hi everybody! I'm Michelle, otherwise known as mimichew in my Instagram account, or Mimi on my whatsapp. Don't ask me how mimichew came about, it's perfectly random. No reason why. No story behind.

I'm 29 this year *gasp* never imagined myself to be so old.. Yes everyone ages but I mean when you're young and wild and free you cannot imagine yourself being old either right? Lol.

A wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister and a salaried employee (sigh).

Random: I'm feeling hungry now!! Is it cos I only ate a packet of mee goreng for dinner just now at 9pm? It's currently 1am!

Ok end of digression. Is there such a word? Lol. My command of English is deteriorating I swear. I think there's such a word lol.

My daughter, Hailey, is currently 7ish months, coming to 8 months next week. She's the cutest human being alive. I'm sure all mothers think that of their kid haha. She's a Michelin baby.. Let me try to upload a photo of her.

 Unfortunately, being the tech idiot that I am, I have no idea how to upload photos from my phone. Zzz. I know there's an icon up there to attach photos but it doesn't allow me to select photos from my phone. The option "from my phone" displays weird photos that is definitely not in my current phone. Lol.

Ok too bad. This shall be a pictureless post then. Until I figure out how to work this shit.
